After a long drive, we enjoyed lobster stew and crab cakes at Warren’s – complete with a water view, where boaters could pull up for lunch.
After lunch we arrived at the charming Ogunquit Beach Inn with a warm welcome from the owners, Greg and Michael. We loved that our room had a patio and private entrance. Greg explained that they never listen to the forecast in Maine – just walk outside and see what’s happening. Lucky for us – it turned out to be a beautiful beach day.
The Wild Blueberry ended up being our restaurant of choice for dinner – complete with live piano music, savory oxtail-stuffed peppers and spicy seafood paella. Afterwards, we perused the shops and ended up at a piano bar called The Front Porch. All in all – a great way to start our vacation!
